Support Detainees through a donation to GDWG

Funding Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group
Like all small charities, funding for GDWG is uncertain. Our main source of income is grants from charitable trusts and foundations, but we are also dependent on receiving money from other sources. This includes from individuals who give to us through one-off donations, monthly standing orders, our Friends scheme and via legacies, all of which give us a more reliable and stable foundation and help secure our future in supporting people held in detention at Gatwick. Should you wish to support GDWG in any of these ways, please contact the Director at the GDWG office for further information.
Alternatively you can make donations directly to our bank account, the details of which are shown below, or send a cheque to the GDWG office.

There are other ways you can help, including becoming a Friend of GDWG  these are described on the GDWG website here

We are extremely grateful for any support you can give us, large or small. We hope that through the Refugee Tales you have gained a greater understanding of the people we support in detention, and of how the simple act of listening can help people through it.

We also welcome donations of second hand clothes for men in detention or laptops for people who have been released from detention.

We need good clean men’s casual clothes – there is not much call for three piece suits. Laptops capable of logging into the internet and running word processors would be really useful.
